Environment Operations Lead

PROJECT INFORMATION:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitors and ensures that the existing NePP’s own environments are up and running and that the other teams in NePP are not getting blocked by issues in NePP’s own existing environments
  • Coordinates and follows up defect tracing / trouble-shooting cases related to NePP’s own environments
  • Assigns tasks to EM team technical experts when needed
  • coordinates, schedules, and follows up application deployments to different NePP’s own environments
  • Scheduling to be done together with NePP Test team managers
  • Assigns application installation tasks to EM team technical experts when needed
  • Keeps all environment users informed about any planned or unplanned outages
  • Keeps NePP environment calendar and environment change logs up-to-date
  • Assigns & schedules EM team members to support testing activities in cooperation with NePP Test team managers
  • Decides unambiguous priorities for all daily activities and keeps tasks in the backlog in prioritized order
  • Cooperates closely with NePP application developers, testers, and contact persons on surrounding systems’ side in any environment related daily activities that require support from EM team


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Self-driven and proactive person with hands-on attitude
  • Previous experience from working in technically complex IT development projects. Preferably experience from projects in financial/banking industry and/or infrastructure projects.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to use own initiative and work under pressure in a big multi-country programme
  • Fluent English skills (written and spoken)
  • Fluent skills in MS Office tools. Previous experience from issue tracking tools like JIRA is a plus.
  • Travelling is needed from time to time
  • Preferred location Poland (Gdynia and Warsaw). Helsinki, Finland can be also considered as secondary location instead of Poland.
