Mainframe Developer

  • Responsibility for development of mainframe system that is part of one of critical systems.
  • Responsibility for over 11 million transactions on daily basis.
  • Optimization of new and current SQL queries.

  • Working experience in COBOL development (at least 3 years).
  • Broad knowledge of SQL (especially in queries optimization, indexing and tuning).
  • Experience in working with IBM Mainframe systems.
  • Knowledge of DB2, Endevor, CICS, OPC, Expeditor, JCL + IBM utility programs.
  • Knowledge of VSAM, OPC would be a plus.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Good leading and problem-solving as well as willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Being a good team player and a “can do” attitude.
