Java full stack developer

For a financial client in Helsinki, we are looking for a full stack developer.

The scope of the project is to deliver a system to screen underwriting document and to make automated decision. The system includes a backend service that handles logics and operations, a database that stores documents and meta data, and a front end user interface. An additional backend system will be implemented which is to provide machine learning logics and operations.

The client wishes to build an end-to-end automation for insurance underwriting. The application will help shorten lead time in particular when screening medical history document and health declarations.

  • 3+ years of business experience
  • Graduate from college or university
  • Experience with developing IT solutions, and able to take partial responsibility for minor projects.
  • Good knowledge of relevant tools and technology
  • Able to work independently with defined problems on an average level within certain areas of expertise
  • Takes an independent approach to ongoing project tasks, is proactive in terms of communicating possible issues, and takes the initiative in relation to relevant solutions.

Most vital skills:
  1. Java, in particular Spring framework
  2. Angular JS, or React
  3. Docker
