DevOps Engineer

PROJECT INFORMATION:

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
In this project you will join a team responsible for delivering “devops capability” to other project teams.

TASKS:
  • Helping with establishing and maintaining of CI/CD pipeline (mainly in Jenkins).
  • Implementing good software delivering practices.
  • Migrating workloads to containers and then to Docker Enterprise platform.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:
  • Good understanding of CI/CD concepts (Jenkins or Bamboo).
  • Ability to develop in Python or Ruby or Golang.
  • Experience with Linux containers.
  • Configuration Management: Ansible or Puppet.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices.

NICE TO HAVE:
  • Knowledge of Big Data concepts such as Hadoop ecosystem including streaming technologies.
  • Experience in implementing release processes for Data Warehouse solutions
  • Tools: SonarQube, Nexus, Maven, sbt and Git
  • Containers: Docker Enterprise Edition (Kubernetes)
  • Atlassian Suite: JIRA, Bitbucket
