Java Web Developer

For a financial client, we are looking for a Web Developer with deep knowledge of Java/J2EE and object oriented JavaScript-frameworks such as ExtJS or similar.

The project is to improve the End-To-End process of patching a platform with focus on change management and the tools supporting; incl. development of an auxiliary tool towards patch orchestration.

You will be working with use cases under a SCRUM framework and need to be willing to work in an agile environment.

Competency Requirements:
The role requires deep knowledge of
  • Java/J2EE
  • Object Oriented JavaScript-frameworks such as ExtJS or similar frameworks (e.g. jQuery, Angular, React, Ember.js, Backbone, Knockout.js)

Other important skills:
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Restful Webservices (JAX-RS) and Maven.
  • Professional English skills
  • Able to take ownership and work in a dynamic environment where demands change based on business needs across the organisation which can result in longer work hours at times
  • Knowledge of creating use cases is an advantage as you will be supporting the business during the requirement phase.

The client uses Oracle RDBMS as backend.
Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL will be an advantage.

Remote solutions are acceptable.
